 Dirty Barbie & Other Girlhood Tales is a solo show written and performed by Denise Stewart. With the help of her alter ego, Dirty Barbie, Denise puts the “fun” back in “dysfunctional” as she spins poignant and hilarious tales about growing up a girl in the South. Dirty Barbie has brought audiences together in Scotland at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York City, Washington D.C., and all over Virginia and North Carolina to great acclaim.
