Dance Talk: ballet "Svadebka"

The Russian Cultural Center “Our Texas” will host the Houston Ballet’s Jessica Collado, first soloist, and Ned Battista, assistant conductor, as they discuss Igor Stravinsky’s score and choreographer Jiri Kylian’s ballet Svadebka, which will be part of Houston Ballet’s Summer Repertory Morris, Welch & Kylian.

Svadebka is the Czech choreographer’s interpretation of a monumentally important composition in ballet history, Stravinsky’s Les Noces.
