Corners CD Release

Corners is the debut self-titled album by young jazz musicians Nick DeCesare, Ben Sherman, Ben Rossman, and George Heid III.  The music featured on the album is the original music of Ben Sherman and Nick DeCesare, inspired by the jazz tradition dating back to the late 50's with Miles Davis' first quintet up until the present.  These young musicians have also drawn from the mentorship of the Pittsburgh jazz scene, drawing influence from the great Roger Humphries, Dwayne Dolphin, Sean Jones, Lou Stellute, and many others. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at Heid Studios in Aspinwall on December 5 and 7th, 2014 by the masterful George Heid Sr. and Jim Barr. In addition to the quartet, the CD release will also be featuring Ross Antonich on percussion.
