Concert by writer Alexander Volodarsky

Behind every famous stand-up comedian, there are always unsung heroes: comedy writers. Meet Alexander Volodarsky, a Kiev-based author who wrote for such stars of the Russian standup as Gennady Khazanov, Vladimir Vinokur, Klara Novikova, and Efim Shifrin. Viktor Shenderovich wrote about Volodarsky, “ His sense of humor is that of a person who knows how to pay attention, who is busy not with changing life, but with observing it. He possesses an ability to really see things and describe them hilariously and precisely. There is no glibness to his storytelling, but a lot of wisdom and a touch of self-deprecation.” Volodarsky presents his new book of short stories ZhZL. This event is in Russian.
