The Carolina Table: East Meets West (SOLD OUT)

Presented by Our State magazine, the Carolina Table: East Meets West dinner pulls chefs together from the coast to the mountains of our great state. This dinner has always had a wonderful community ambiance and is always the first event to sell out.


Shining a light on producers throughout the state, this dinner is served family-style and always engages some of the most exciting talent in the region today. Each of the following chefs will prepare a course/dish for the dinner:



  • Chef Matt Butler of Top of the Hill Great Room

  • Chef Sean Fowler of Mandolin in Raleigh

  • Chef Steven Greene of Herons from The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary

  • Chef Andrew Long of Mast Farm Inn and Over Yonder in Valle Crucis

  • Chef Jim Noble of Noble’s Restaurants in Charlotte

  • Chef Keith Rhodes of Catch in Wilmington

  • Pastry Chef Krystle Swenson of Standard Foods in Raleigh

  • Master Baker Lionel Vatinet of La Farm Bakery in Cary

  • Pastry Chef Andrew Ullom of AC Restaurants in Raleigh


In addition, Sour Grapes will provide the wine, Joe Van Gogh will provide the delicious coffee, and Top of the Hill will provide the craft beer, and specialty cocktails, made with TOPO Organic Spirits!
