Babushkas and Hard Hats Tour

Explore the magical mix of immigrants and industry that made Pittsburgh the steel-making capital of the world!

The tour includes an interactive presentation about the rise and fall of steel in Pittsburgh and what it was like to work in a mill; a guided tour of the awe-inspiring Carrie Blast Furnaces (bring your camera!); a visit to the Historic Pump House, site of the 1892 Battle of Homestead; and a delicious lunch featuring regional favorites such as stuffed cabbage rolls, pierogies and the beloved cookie table.

Transportation is provided from Station Square.
