Adam Brakel, Organist

Having been compared to Liszt, Gould, Bernstein, and Paganini, organist Adam Brakel is proving that prodigies do not fade.The young recent graduate of the Peabody Conservatory has already embarked on a successful concert career, playing from coast to coast in America. Dame Gillian Weir, one of the world’s foremost organists has said of Brakel, “He is to be commended for his devotion to the art of performance, and to music itself.” Beyond his demanding performance schedule, Adam is currently Director of Music at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Roman Catholic Parish in Spring Hill, Florida. Adam’s first major post was held at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Cathedral in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, a position at age 25 that made him one of the youngest directors appointed to a cathedral in the country.
