As a Knox alumna and former member of the Knox College Choir, Kim Pokin Lee made her March, 2013 debut as the soprano soloist in Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass at Carnegie Hall. Other noteworthy performances include the role of Cunegonde in Florida State University’s production of Candide and the soprano solo in Saint-Saëns’ Christmas Oratorio with Grace Lutheran Church in Tallahassee (FL). Pokin is now a voice teacher in Lombard (IL).
A graduate of Knox College, Janet Mensen Reynoldsmade her 2013 Carnegie Hall debut singing alto solos in Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass with the Knox College Choir. She is finishing up her 26th season at Chicago’s Lyric Opera as a member of the chorus. In addition to the KGS, she has performed with numerous orchestras around the Chicago land area, recently singing as soloist for Vivaldi’s Gloria and A Night of Rodgers and Hammerstein with the West Suburban Symphony. Reynolds has also done extensive work with the Tower Chorale and the International Chamber Artists.
