One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

Based on Ken Kesey's 1962 novel, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest tells of the recidivist anti-authoritarian criminal, McMurphy (Joel Altherr) who rallies the patients to take on the oppressive head nurse (Amy Miller) upon his admittance to a mental institution. McMurphy establishes himself immediately as the leader of the misfit band of patients, as his and Nurse Ratched's battle of wills escalates rapidly. With the overhanging threat of electroshock therapy, indefinite commitment, and even lobotomization, McMurphy struggles to defend his new found friends and get out alive.
