As Stonewall Community Foundation’s signature fundraising event, the Vision Awards helps advance our work in directing grants and critical resources to a wide range of New York City's vibrant community organizations. Since 1990, we have invested more than $17 million in over 600 organizations via our donor-advised funds, endowments, and annual grantmaking.

This year at the Vision Awards we will be honoring Isaac Mizrahi a lauded fashion icon, TV personality, and taste-maker; Janet Mock, a New York Times best-selling author, advocate and activist for trans women and girls of color; Jason Collins, NBA player and the first openly gay professional male athlete in a major American team sport; Lee Daniels, critically acclaimed film producer and director behind such films as Monster's BallPrecious, and The Butler; and Marita Begley, the longtime Artistic Director of the Lesbian & Gay Big Apple Corps Marching Band.

Featuring a special perfomance by UK singing sensation Daley.

We are delighted to be partnering with Museum of the City of New York for this signature event. As a New York City-focused community foundation, there is no better place to hold such an event than in an institution that houses much of the history of our great city.

Special this year: in addition to VIP bar and dinner access, sponsors at the Benefactor level ($10,000) and up will have the opportunity to open of one of five amazing museum exhibitions for our guests to enjoy. Benefactors, Advocates, and Visionaries will receive special recognition on all our materials for the event, as well as at the entrances of the galleries they have sponsored.
