The Cheat River Festival is a beloved annual celebration of the Cheat River watershed's remarkable comeback — and Friends of the Cheat's biggest fundraiser of the year. Every dollar raised goes directly toward watershed restoration and sustaining the organization's vital mission.
This year's festival takes place at the grounds in Albright, West Virginia, on Friday, May 1st (5:30–10:00 PM) and Saturday, May 2nd (12:00–11:30 PM), bringing together boaters, music lovers, and families for a weekend to remember.
Expect live music from outstanding Appalachian artists, an Art Market, food and merchandise vendors, and a chance to connect with fellow conservation-minded nonprofits — all in the heart of the mountains.
Kids under 12 are free, and the ever-growing Kids' Tent offers hands-on activities throughout the afternoon on Saturday (12:00–5:00 PM). We also encourage attendees to bring a non-perishable food item for our Cheat Fest Food Drive.
Presale Weekend Passes are $45 + tax. Grab yours before ticket sales close Wednesday, April 29th at 9:00 PM.
