Play! Learn! Discover! Ready for a week of adventure? Day Camps are back at Fort Edmonton Park. Your child can now embark on a historic journey through our immersive, fun and unique summer programs. With four distinct eras and the new Indigenous Peoples Experience to explore, your camper will create lasting memories with new friends. Let your summer adventure begin!


Week 4 - July 22nd-26th 2024 


9am to 4pm



  • Mrs. Egge’s Kitchen Kids (6-9 yrs) $290 +GST

  • Voyageur Adventure (10 -12 years) $310 +GST

  • Edmonton Explorer (8-11 years) $290 +GST


*Addition of Before and After Care for $60 for week, must pre-register as an add-on




Mrs. Egge’s Kitchen Kids (6 – 9 years) PIONEER - $290 +GST


No one bakes like grandma, except maybe great-grandma and of course, Mrs. Egge! Aspiring bakers will learn the secrets of home cooking on a wood-burning stove. You will bake treats and sweets throughout the week using historic recipes! Activities for older bakers can include baking cakes, pies and sewing your own apron! After sampling their creation s, tidy up and finish chores just like kids in the past, followed by some play in our gardens


Voyageur Adventure (10 -12 years) FORT - $310 +GST


It’s the Voyageurs’ life for me! Get a taste of this challenging and adventurous way of life. Campers will explore our 1846 Fort. Campers will try their hands creating traditional art from our cultural experts onsite, and learn more about the relationship between settlers and Indigenous peoples. The week comes together with a trip to the John Janzen Nature Centre where you will investigate habitats around the Nature Centre for tracks and traces that animals leave behind.


Edmonton Explorer (8-11 years) PARKWIDE - $290 +GST


Come and explore all that Fort Edmonton Park has to offer as you travel throughout Edmonton’s history. Starting from our new Indigenous Peoples Experience, campers will discover the life and culture of Indigenous Peoples from our cultural experts. Race through our 1846 Fort with the voyageurs, and play games just like kids in 1885 did. Build your own turn-of-the-century toy , and learn dance moves that were all the rage in 1920. Don’t forget a visit to our Midway where all the lights, sounds and fun surround you. Make new friends that will last a lifetime as you discover life throughout the ages.
