A Very Special Episodeâ€ is the bi-coastal storytelling show (LA and NYC) hosted by Robin Gelfenbien and Danny Artese that brings 80s and 90s TV to new, bombastic places. This month we will be showing a clip from the hit show â€œThe Fresh Prince of Bel Air,â€ which inspired the theme: Too Much Is Never Enough (Stories of Being Told Youâ€™re Too-Something or Not-Something-Enough). If youâ€™ve ever been told you were too old/young/tall/short/fat/skinny/pretty/
ugly/smart/dumb/sexy/unsexy for your shirt or anything else, or that you werenâ€™t old/young/tall/you-get-the-picture enough and you proved â€˜em wrong, or maybe figured out they were right, we want to hear your story! Weâ€™ll choose one person to share an 8-minute story during our open mic portion. Plus, youâ€™ll hear stories from Michele Carlo (NPR), Rory Scholl (Moth Slam Winner), Jason Evans (Keanu Reeves Saves the Universe) and Robin Gelfenbien (Vh1)!
