2021 WLN Annual Leadership Conference

STOP PLAYING DEFENSE.  TAKE THE OFFENSIVE!   The Eleventh Annual WLN Leadership and Activist Conference, themed "TAKE THE OFFENSIVE!", will take place on Saturday, January 30th at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tigard, Oregon.  A FREE reception with featured speakers, appetizers and a no-host bar will be held the night before, at the same hotel.  These conferences have become the premiere activist events of the year!  You will get the tools and inspiration you need to be politically successful and advance limited government principles where you live!

 COVID-19 LIMITATIONS!  Though we believe them to be unconstitutional, Governor Brown's executive orders relating to the Covid 19 virus will limit attendance to 50 people.  All hotels are enforcing these limits, so purchase your tickets now!  While this will therefore be a smaller conference than in past years, the content will be the more useful than ever.  WLN has continued to safely provide field training throughout the Covid pandemic and we will continue to do so to advance the principles of limited government!  Masks and sanitizers will be on site, or you can bring your own.

 FEATURED SPEAKERS!   Our featured speakers and guest trainers will include Steve Moore (President Trump's former Sr. Economic Advisor), state senators Kim Thatcher and Dennis Linthicum, state representative Mike Nearman, Slavic Vote board member Liliya Zhukov, owner of Burnett Media Group Greg Burnett, former candidate for governor Tom Cox, Chair of the Clackamas county board of commissioners Tootie Smith, owner of the Burnett Media Group, Greg Burnett, and WLN Exec. Dir. Richard P. Burke.  Steve Moore and Tom Cox will be presenting remotely.

 FANTASTIC TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES!   This year's conference will be focused on building a limited-government "farm team" which can lay the foundation for future success!  Sessions will provide training on: 1) Recruiting Activists to Run for Local Office, 2) Running for and Serving in Local Non-Partisan Office, 3) Impacting Oregon's 2021 legislative session, and more!  Every session will be led by people who are expert in their fields!

 AWESOME WORKING LUNCH!   WLN conference lunches have the reputation of being excellent!  While hotel menus are limited during the Covid pandemic, we have an excellent pizza lunch planned with salad and bottled drinks.  NOTE: Let us know in advance if you have dietary restrictions so an alternative meal can be arranged for you.

 ADDITIONAL EVENTS!   At 7:00 PM on Friday, January 29th, the night before the conference, there will be a free reception/mixer held at the conference hotel.  All interested in  limited government are invited!  The event will include hot appetizers, a no-host bar, and fellowship with people who support the ideals of limited government!  There will also be a brief presentation from a featured speaker.  Every year, people have a wonderful time at this reception which serves to break the ice for the following day!

 THE EMBASSY SUITES HOTEL HAS GREAT AMENITIES!   Every room at the Embassy Suites is a gorgeous two-room suite.  Rooms feature two televisions, free wifi, a refrigerator, a microwave, and all guests can get a free hot made-to-order breakfast.  The hotel is adjacent to and within walking distance of the Washington Square shopping mall, but a shuttle is available.  Secure your lodging at a reduced group rate through this website!
