Event Description
Since 2008, the Veterans Breakfast Club has hosted more than 3,500 different people at over 230 storytelling events. They come to listen and to learn, to share and to heal, and to say thank you to those who’ve served.
Our Veteran Voices of Pittsburgh Oral History Project has captured over 600 veteran interviews and thousands of photos and documents, which we’re archiving at the Heinz History Center and sharing through our website.
Western Pennsylvania is home to one of the largest veteran populations in the country. From Pearl Harbor and Bastogne to Fallujah and Kandahar, our region’s veterans have served on every battlefront of the past 75 years. Our veterans need to tell their stories. We need to hear them. Your support of this annual event helps us to share, celebrate, and preserve their stories, our history. Please join us,Thursday, September 28, 2017 | 6:30pm-9:00pm Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum Veteran General Admission- $60General Admission- $75 Dress: Cocktail Attire or Military Uniform Suggested
