In 2014, Slim Forsythe teamed up with Grammy-Award-winning sound recording engineer, Dino Gabriel DiStefano, to create "Live From Nied's Hotel," a Country Music TV Show starring the Architects of the Bloomfield Sound, the Beagle Brothers, with Special Guest Star, Molly Alphabet. The pilot episode was successfully funded through Kickstarter, and released online and aired through Pittsburgh's PBS Station, WQED.

In 2016, the episode recieved 2 nominations: the Press Club of Western Pennsylvania nominated "Live From Nied’s Hotel" for a Golden Quill Award, and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Mid-Atlantic Chapter, nominated the show for an Emmy. 

Based off of the excitement of those nominations, we have secured 2 Fabulous Artists for Episodes 2 & 3 of "Live From Nied's Hotel."
To raise money for filming and producing the next episodes, Slim will host The Benefit for "Live at Nied's Hotel" at the Northside Elks Lodge on Saturday, November 19th, 2016!!

On that same date is the release of "Slim Forsythe's Greatest Hits," 14 songs (including 2 never-before-released recordings) on Pittsburgh's legendary Get Hip label. All proceeds from the CD will go towards funding Episodes 2 & 3.
