Plutopia 2011: The Future of Play

Plutopia Productions presents its 2011 annual signature "sense event," themed The Future of Play, an official SXSW Interactive after event, which will be an extravaganza of gaming, toys, music, performances and art as a transformative experience of the future. This year's fully immersive event will feature creative powerhouses from all over the world including Lee Ranaldo (of Sonic Youth) and Text of Light, Intimate Stranger and Telefunken, Scenocosme's Akousmaflora interactive hanging gardens, Nullsleep, The Total Unicorn Experience, and Video Jack. Author/Futurist Bruce Sterling, Joe Tankersley of Disney Imagineering, and David Merrill of Sifteo will also talk about how technology and interactivity will impact the many forms of play in the future.
