Legendary artist Lillian Schwartz is best known for her pioneering work with computers and what has since become known as computer-generated art and computer-aided art analysis, including graphics, film, video, animation, special effects, and virtual reality. The presentation is a program of 10 short films from Ms. Schwartz's early pioneering work at Bell Laboratories (circa 1970 –1975) where she experimented with the amalgam of image, sound, and video. This special event includes a Q&A session with Ms. Schwartz via Skype. Co-sponsored by the Center for Arts in Society, Carnegie Mellon University.
