FASHION INSPIRES! 2

On Saturday March 7, 2015 at 7pm, FASHION INSPIRES! 2 will hold its end of the year Fashion Show and After Reception at The Cunneen Hackett Theater located at 9 Vassar Street in Poughkeepsie, New York. Tickets are $20.  Our very special guests for FI!2 will be Jourdan Miller Winner of America's Next Top Model Cycle 20 (Photo courtesy of Briana Romano) Denzel Wells (Photo courtesy of Jessy J, Dallas Tx).  Mr. Wells, was a contestant on "America's Next Top Model" (subtitled as America's Next Top Model: Guys & Girls) reality TV show created by Tyra Banks, airing on The CW and he is also a star on "If Loving You Is Wrong" an American primetime television soap opera created, executive produced, written, and directed by Tyler Perry is aired on the Oprah Winfrey Network. We are excited to note that the upcoming Fashion Inspires!2 Fashion Show and After Reception will benefit The American Cancer Society’s “Look Good Feel Better” program in addition to ongoing programs at JBFPAC.  “Look Good Feel Better” is open to all women, men and teens undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy or other forms of cancer treatment. It was created to improve self-esteem and quality of life of people undergoing treatment of cancer.  It is a non-medical, brand neutral, free community service program dedicated to teaching cancer patients how to better manage the appearance-related side effects caused by cancer treatment.

The Legendary Godfather of Soul, James Brown was a trendsetter in music, performance and fashion. At JBFPAC teens and young adults can participate in enrichment programs that encourage them to strive for excellence and we support them in using their skill, talent and ability in music, theater and fashion! Fashion Inspires! a model & designer initiative, was created for male and female ages 14-21 who have an interest in fashion. Students gain real industry experience and get a glimpse into the fashion world. With great training and community integration JBFPAC models walked the runway at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week and went on to represent the area by donating time to non profit fashion shows helping the fight against Sickle Cell Anemia, Mustard Seed’s charge to build housing in underdeveloped countries, The Walk Now for Autism and lending a helping hand to pass out turkeys to senior citizens in the New York area.
