Event Description

Sex and the City meets Jerry Springer in the Pittsburgh Premiere of Date Me, Do Me, Dump Me, a new side-splitting musical by Steven Mitchell of New York City. The show features original music and lyrics by Marianne Forti and Leah Gray, formerly the band "Two Chicks and a Casio".

The Rex Theater becomes the bar of the show, and the real life audience are patrons, privy to the intimate and hilarious dating escapades of the four main characters. Those patrons lucky enough to be seated in the VIP section, will be catered to by the bar owner (Pittsburgh's own Deborah Starling-Pollard). The cast comprises 4 social misfits played by Pittsburgh's Caroline Schneider (Grace) and Mary Brodland (Devon); also New York actors Georgia Haege (Tina) and Leah Keele (Penny) who retell true-life dating situations in story and song. Pittsburgh native, Camden Williams (now a Los Angeles model) plays "the Bartender", and has a hard time keeping dressed throughout the evening. Aubrey Klinger, a Point Park University graduate, directs and choreographs the show.

Prior to the event, one hour of "social opportunity" will be held, fueled by "Contagious Cocktails" and "Singles Mingles". Tickets are $25 for house seats, and $45 for VIP seats (VIP seats include 2 complimentary drinks at center tables with wait service). Date Me, Do Me, Dump Me has a limited run and its Pittsburgh Premiere is not to be missed!
