Please join us to learn how California Lawyers for the Arts, Sacramento serves artists and arts organizations of all disciplines. During this 90 minute event, Jody Prunier, Associate Director of CLA and Director of Sacramento Programs, and Lisa Camhi, Program Director of Sacramento Education and Outreach will discuss how art/law educational programs, mediation services and connecting with lawyers who specialize in your area of need can help you professionalize your creative career and navigate certain legalities and conflicts you may encounter along the way. Points of discussion include:

• What is mediation and how to use it to manage conflicts that may arise with fellow creatives, coworkers, etc.


• What are art/law workshops and how can they help artists professionalize their careers?


• Where should an artist go if they feel they need an attorney?

This 90 minute presentation is interactive and we welcome hearing about the issues and challenges faced by Sacramento Region artists, non profit organizations, arts businesses and more. This is a FREE presentation but space is limited to 20 people so please sign up in advance. We will be serving cookies, tea, and water and we invite you to bring your lunch.
