Breakfast and a Movie

Join us for a light breakfast, supplied by Sugar Cafe, at 11 a.m. and an 11:30 screening of the 1944 Frank Capra screwball comedy "Arsenic and Old Lace." In the movie, Mortimer Brewster (Cary Grant) is a newspaperman and author known for his diatribes against marriage. We watch him being married at city hall in the opening scene. Now all that is required is a quick trip home to tell his two maiden aunts. While trying to break the news, he finds out his aunts' hobby; killing lonely old men and burying them in the cellar.... and it gets worse. A great little comedy for the dreary month of January!
