Velvet Heat is a Pittsburgh-based fusion band fronted by singer Jessica Zamiska and guitarist Arianna Powell.  The group frequently features other female musicians in the area.

Jessica and Arianna have been playing together for over 2 years, and now are bringing their original sounds to the scene. Influenced by jazz, funk, and pop music, their original music is loaded with personal stories, intricate harmonies, and lots of soul.  Velvet Heat performs regularly at venues throughout the Pittsburgh area.
