Steelers Book Launch – “Their Life’s Work”

The Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum at the Heinz History Center will host the national launch of a new book, "Their Life's Work: The Brotherhood of the 1970s Pittsburgh Steelers, Then and Now."

“Their Life’s Work: The Brotherhood of the 1970s Pittsburgh Steelers, Then and Now,” written by noted author Gary Pomerantz, features more than 200 interviews with former Steelers players, coaches, and their families. The book tells the intimate story of the Steelers’ 1970s dynasty that won four Super Bowls, from the earliest days of the team to modern stories of the players’ post-football careers.
As part of the book launch event on Oct. 30, Steelers greats Rocky Bleier, Franco Harris, Dan Rooney and Andy Russell will lead an all-star panel discussion moderated by Pomerantz.
Following the discussion, visitors will be able to purchase signed copies of the book for $28 through the History Center’s Museum Shop. History Center members get a 15% discount on all Museum Shop purchases.
