This summer, steam locomotive no. 765 will operate two round-trips each day between Detroit (Allen Park) and Fort Wayne, Indiana. Departing Allen Park at 8AM, passengers will arrive in downtown Fort Wayne at noon to experience the city’s Three Rivers Festival, Indiana’s second largest festival. After disembarking at the elevated railroad station, passengers can enjoy Art in the Park and Crafter’s Market at Freimann Square, downtown midway, food alley, historic Old Fort, and Headwaters Park during the layover. Passengers will depart Fort Wayne and arrive Allen Park at approximately 8PM.
These 282-mile round-trip excursions will feature seating options aboard a fleet of restored passenger coach, deluxe coach, dome car, and first class passenger cars.
CHILD PRICING
Children ages 3-16 are eligible for child pricing in Standard Coach only. Children ages 3 and younger are free if they do not occupy a seat.
MEMBERS DISCOUNTS
Railroad historical society members with General ($30), Contributing ($50), and Sustaining ($100) Memberships are eligible for a discount for Standard Coach by entering their membership number in the "Enter Your Coupon" section during checkout.
