From the House of Atreus to the Palace of Nero

Mythic characters of ancient Greek drama intertwine with notorious historical figures of the depraved court of Nero. Clytemnestra, Orestes, Agrippina, Poppea, Ottone, and Nero find expression in Aeschylus, Euripides, Suetonius, Monteverdi, Scarlatti, and Handel, as the Arc of Justice meets Decline and Fall.
Three actors and two singers perform multiple roles in this site-specific interdisciplinary event, staged at a repurposed bank originally designed to replicate a Roman villa.
