About Sylvia:

Sylvia is the full-length premier of Orlando based experimental dance company, Red Right Return Dance Company. Inspired by the controversial life and death of Pulitzer Prize winning poet, Sylvia Plath, Sylvia embarks on a journey fraught with intensity and desperation. The work, created by Elise Frost in collaboration with the dancers, explores the concepts of emotional resilience and vulnerability. Through intense movement and structural complexity, Sylvia seeks to delve into the unique and complex creature of the deeply creative and haunted feminine spirit.

Sylvia will take place in Ivanhoe's burgeoning performance space "The Venue" which provides a perfect platform for the audience to connect with the rich work and talented cast. Please join Red Right Return Dance Company for a unique and exhilarating experience.

About Red Right Return Dance Company

Red Right Return Dance was formed in the summer of 2013 with the intention of creating a platform for the development of contemporary dance. The company formed in order to meet a need of local artists looking to pursue the development of their work in an experimental capacity that allows for risk-taking, progressive research, and artistic self-realization.
