Rusted Root

Rusted Root has been touring and performing for over 20 years. They’re known for their fusion of bluegrass and rock as well as their inspired use of percussion that is drawn from African, Latin America, Native American and Middle Eastern influences and defies categorization. Over the last several years they have sold more than 3 million albums worldwide and they have toured the world and the US with Toad the Wet Sprocket, Santana, The Grateful Dead, Dave Matthews Band, The Allman Brothers Band, HORDE Festival and, perhaps most notably, the highly coveted support role on the landmark Jimmy Page/Robert Plant reunion tour.

Backstabbing Good People

The Backstabbing Good People, a Pittsburgh based band, are a lot like the city they live in. Sure, on the outside, Pittsburgh is dirty. It’s funky and loud. There’s an unmistakable grime that covers everything. But ‘burgh dwellers know that underneath all of that is a wealth of soul. There are stories that need to be told.

The Backstabbing Good People take rock, blues, funk, reggae and hip-hop and mash it up into one big mess. They call it soul music. And they use it to tell you the stories they’ve got buried deep down. Stories about bars. Stories about catching the bus. Stories about keeping the people you love close to you.

They released their debut album “Before There were Cell Phones” in August of 2010. They are currently recording material for a new album.

Walk of Shame is a nationally sponsored "Jager Band" that plays over 100 shows a year. The band also plays private parties, corporate events, weddings, and more. Because of demand, first available dates are not until Winter 2012 - so BOOK NOW! Contact Sean at SSS Promotions - (412)607-3233
