PianoFest 2015

Our annual VCU PianoFest is back! Join us for this competition workshop, a multi-faceted training platform for aspiring young pianists who are preparing for upcoming auditions and competitions.

VCU PianoFest 2015 will include individual diagnostic lessons with VCU piano faculty, a guest lecture on Russian pianicism and techniques, a workshop on performance anxiety, and an honors recital. Cash awards will be given to the top three performers! 

This program is open to any piano student from Virginia, aged 8-18, who is not pursuing a university degree in music. The repertoire and application fees must be completed online by Oct. 5, and no change of repertoire is allowed.

Fees:

Active participants: $30 (plus fees)

Observers: $10 (plus fees)

Teachers and parents of active participants: FREE

DVD recordings of individual performances will be available for $10, and may be purchased through Oct. 31.
