The 3rd Annual Maine Comedy Festival is always the first weekend in August, celebrating the comedy arts. The festival is nestled in the lush, green, western mountains of Maine and hosted by our partner, The Bethel Inn Resort.
Maine Comedy Festival has hosted national touring comics: Margaret Cho, Myq Kaplan, Ian Harvie, Fortune Feimster; as well as regional and local favorites like George Hamm, Kelly MacFarland, Johnny Ater AND MANY MORE.
The fest also hosts a charity golf tournament and a charity poker tournament with prizes!
For even more fun, there is live music in the tavern, cliff jumping at the local swimming hole, canoeing at the resort lake house, pool parties in the heated outdoor pool, fine dining at the resort restaurant, cold brews in the resort tavern, and much more!
