The loveable Southern comic, Fortune Feimster, moved to Los Angeles to pursue comedy after graduating and made a pit stop in Sevilla, Spain where she taught English, studied Spanish, and backpacked all over Europe for a year. Then with $25 in her pocket she landed in Los Angeles, slept on a friend’s couch for a month, and hoped for the best. Most Recently, Fortune Feimster has been cast on Tina Fey's Fox Comedy Series!

Although Fortune has the voice and the curls of a candied Southern belle, her sweet, salty, and charmingly blunt standup could make steel magnolias blush. A writer and roundtable regular on E!’s Chelsea Lately, Fortune first made her TV debut on the seventh season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, where her gut-busting tales of small-town adolescence propelled her into the semifinals. In her adroit standup act, Fortune often muses on coming out of the closet, Hooters waitressing, and the pains of being compared to Richard Simmons. She also flaunts the sharp, improvisational wits she honed at The Groundlings, the famed comedy institution where Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig got their start.
