14th Annual FashionAFRICANA

The 14th Annual FashionAFRICANA will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015, 8PM, in the beautiful Hall of Sculpture at the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh.

FashionAFRICANA's 2015 Honorary Co-chairs are Mariama Mounir Camara-Petrolawicz, founder of Mariama Fashion Production and co-founder of There Is No Limit Foundation; and Kiya Tomlin, womenswear designer, Kiya Tomlin Pittsburgh LLC. It is an honor to celebrate these two amazing women whose success and beautiful work are inspiring and positively impacting women around the world.

As part of the celebration, FashionAFRICANA will premiere a new fashion line in collaboration with the talented Diana Misetic, fashion designer, Little Black Dress. The beautiful African prints featured in the collection were provided by Mariama Fashion Production - and created by women artistans in Guinea Africa. A portion of the sales proceeds will support Mariama's organization, There Is No Limit Foundation and the FashionAFRICANA Foundation, a youth educational program.

The evening will also include a cocktail reception, a runway presentation featuring beautiful FashionAFRICANA models and a special performance by The Duke Quintet.
