More about the bands:

Felix & the Hurricanes: Storming onto the local music scene 20 years ago, the three-member, Altoona-based Southern-style blues rock outfit has exemplified what it means to endure as a musical force - and what it means to be a working band. The band's founding member and namesake, Felix Kos (guitar and vocals), Bobby Watters (drums and vocals) and Jeff Clapper (bass and vocals) - the band's lineup since 1998 - have thrived not only on a fierce playing schedule, but also on expert musicianship, spontaneity and the fine art of showing audiences a good time.

Miss Melanie & the Valley Rats – Based in State College, Miss Melanie and the Valley Rats specialize in all aspects of the blues, as well as performing roots, soul and New Orleans infused grooves. They have shared stages and/or jammed alongside B.B. King, Allen Toussaint, James Cotton, Johnny Winter, The Nighthawks, Clarence Spady and JJ Grey & Mofro, and were a hit at the AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival in August.

Jukehouse Bombers: The four-piece Jukehouse Bombers  specialize in barrelhouse blues, soul, and classic rock. As Jim Price put it, "The Jukehouse Bombers’ dazzling instrumental chops, hearty vocals, and rowdy presentation dash the misconception that blues is depressing music." The band hails from Indiana, Pa.

Stone Bridge Blues Band:  Like the stalwart railroad bridge in their home base of Johnstown  where they derived their name, the Stone Bridge Blues Band stands sturdy in celebrating the tradition of classic blues.  What you get from the five-member Stone Bridge Blues Band is pure, unadulterated, working class blues, delivered from the heart and soul.
