Bach Brandenburg Concertos

Bach dedicated his collection of six instrumental concertos to Christian Ludwig, Margrave of Brandenburg, who " took some pleasure in the little talents which Heaven has given me for Music, and.... deigned to honour me with the command to send Your Highness some pieces of my Composition." Now considered to be among the finest Baroque compositions, they were only rediscovered in 1849.
