Adron is a young Atlanta singer and songwriter, seamlessly blending classical harmony with the playfulness of '60s Tropicalia, the earnestness and sentiment of '70s songwriters like Joni Mitchell and Harry Nilsson, and the cerebral sincerity of the hymn. She has an international texture, youthful exuberance, and a remarkably vintage, yet highly original modern sound.

 The Sun Flights

It had something to do with The Who, The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down, and Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone. That and being 14-yr-old girls growing up in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. Natalie and Claire’s friendship was always centered on music and the truth it held. That’s what they talked about on their long walks to and from school and around town. Music and philosophy and getting out.

Claire went off to college in Minnesota as soon as they graduated high school. Natalie went to art school in Philadelphia. Two years later, Claire moved back to Philadelphia and joined Natalie in art school, and its disillusionment. That’s when the two seriously started working on music. Much of the harmony heard in The Sun Flights’ sound can be credited to the wonky apartment it was created in. The apartment, that didn’t quite seem to fit together, had angled ceilings and 15-20 foot walls. There was an echoing courtyard and a giant, ship-like roof.

Three years later, The Sun Flights found themselves learning how to drive all over the country in search of songs and stories. They cut the ties to daily routine and toured around the country sharing their second EP entitled Roam to Ramble. And so they did, for nine months, before returning home to Philadelphia.

If questions and curiosity prompted The Sun Flights to leave on their nine month musical adventure around the country, then it's only to be assumed that greater questions and curiosity remain. We returned with no answers whatsoever. Yet the exploration inspired "House of Man."

The album is a reflection of the time we live in. It is a small perspective of the vast landscapes and stories we shared and experienced with so people along the way. It is hope and harmony for the hardships and truth as best as we know how to tell it.
