This holiday season, give your family a gift: come and see The Nutcracker performed at the Plummer Auditorium on Sunday, November 21st at 4pm.
This will be the 11th annual presentation by the American Pacific Ballet Company. A perfect production with much charm and appeal.
A special attraction is the appearance of 2 internationally acclaimed guest artists Tiler Peck and Joaquin De Luz, principal dancers of New York City Ballet. They dance the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier. Choreography is by Mignon Furman, Director of the American Academy of Ballet Summer School of Excellence in New York. Miss Furman will also make a cameo appearance in the Act I christmas party.
Merle Sepel, director of the American Pacific Ballet Company, has chosen to present the Nutcracker it was intended without any gimmicks or “interpretation.” The result is a delight of classical ballet to the glorious music of Tchaikovsky. With 3 decor changes, transformation scene, growing Christmas tree, falling snow and beautiful dancers.
Tickets are priced affordably at $15, $23 and$28.
