Basket of Fruit: Wine Tasting
Thu. May 27, 2010 7:00pm GMT-5 (EST)
$35.00 event cost includes FREE Riedel wine glass! Each participant will receive a FREE Riedel crystal stem from which to taste and to take home. A $10 VALUE.
EVENT: Chardonnay is known for carrying citrus flavors such as lemon or grapefruit. Shiraz is associated with wild black-fruits such as black currant. Merlot often takes on the flavor of black cherry. If you prefer the taste of apples, you might enjoy a glass of Riesling. The strong, lingering fruit flavors help define a wine and build its character. They add a touch of sweetness, enhancing the full taste of the wine. Transform your wine rack into a basket of fruit as we break down the flavors of some of your favorite wines.
All attendees will receive a 15% Discount on in-store purchases during the evening. Learning about the wines and discovering new ones is what this evening is about -- along with some great live jazz, from the West Village Trio!
And remember...\"Some of the best wines are not necessarily expensive; you just have to spend the time exploring to find hidden gems. \" - Sean Mahoney, wine collector & connoisseur.
