This affair is not just another event, but a gathering that promotes family and community while raising funds to support the Maldine C.Dowdy Scholarship Fund. As a life-long educator and advocate for children, the late Mrs. Dowdy was a woman who passionately believed in the importance of educatingour children. With this in mind, we thought it best to provide an event reflecting her spirit, an afternoon filled with warmth and love, where people young and old gather, celebrate and support a worthy cause that will empower college-bound highschool seniors to achieve their dreams of a college education.
