LocalMotion is Pittsburgh City Paper's 5th Annual Benefit Fashion Event: A Rock-n-Roll Runway Show & Cash-n-Carry Trunk Sale featuring the hottest local boutiques and great food & drinks from local restaurants. This year's 5th Anniversary event will be hosted by comedian, Gab Bonesso, and will include a performance by Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School presented by The Pointe Society and live music by Cali AC.
Daquila Hair Color Studio will be vamping our models with big, hot, hairstyles and make-up artists from Lazur Salon & Spa will be applying rockin' make-up worthy of backstage passes. All proceeds will benefit Riverlife's Friends of the Fountain Campaign.
Sponsors include: Rohrich Lexus, X Shadyside, Allison Roth Studio, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School presented by the Pointe Society, The CW, Asia Carpet, Port Authority, European Motorcycles of Pittsburgh, Dunkin Donuts, Sota Construction, and Professional Limo Service.
Tickets to the event include:
- Cocktail Reception featuring Rain Organic Vodka, Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka, and Long Trail Brewery as well as food from Pittsburgh's favorites restaurants.
- LocalMotion Runway Show featuring MC Gab Bonesso, performance by Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School presented by The Pointe Society, and rock-n-roll runway performance by Cali AC.
- Cash-n-Carry Trunk Sale with items on-sale from the runway and beyond with proceeds benefiting Riverlife.
- Dessert Reception featuring yummy sweets from local restaurants
- Entrance to LM2: The Official LocalMotion After-Party at the Shadow Lounge featuring the Bridge City Bombshell Burlesque Troup
