Transformed by tragedy, Gish’s character survives Mother Nature’s wrath. Three roommates propose to the same woman, who accepts all three, in this comedic short made by one of Hollywood’s leading directors in the early years of filmmaking. Weber was a frontrunner in using film for cultural impact and focusing on social issues. Preserved during the first grant year of NYWIFT’S Women’s Film Preservation Fund.
