The Santaland Diaries is an outrageously funny one man play (from well-loved humorist David Sedaris) about the author’s experiences as an unemployed actor/writer taking a job as an elf at Macy’s department store in New York City. A delightfully absurd look at the commercial underbelly of the holiday season, Sedaris’ sharp and hilarious observations about the other side of what it’s like to work at Santaland have become a delightful adult cult classic.

Acclaimed actor Daren Scott will be performing the one man show. In addition to our regular wine and hors d’oeuvre reception, we will also be serving holiday themed adult beverages. Don’t miss this very funny evening of grown up Christmas cheer.

Directed by New Village Arts Executive Artistic Director Kristianne Kurner, this reading is based on the successful production at New Village Arts in 2009 & 2010.
