While playing a character in the third and fourth seasons of the acclaimed cable series “The Wire,” actress Brandy Burre decided to leave her career, opting for motherhood. This film explores her recent efforts to return to the acting profession after years of domestic life. Director Robert Greene – Burre’s actual next-door neighbor – has described his film as a “nonfiction/melodrama hybrid.” It's an exploration of the pursuit of dreams and the nature of performance, told entirely from the actress's point of view.
