Thunderbird Artists’ 3rd Annual Surprise Fine Art & Wine Festival, takes center stage at the Surprise Recreation Campus. Spring training home to the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals, it is one of the best kept secrets in Arizona!

Set amidst the backdrop of mountain parklands and open Sonoran Desert, the City of Surprise is the second fastest-growing municipality in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. Only 20 mile northwest of Phoenix, Surprise is a city with a deep sense of community and a love of the Arts!

Thunderbird Artists events have become a primary destination for art lovers and enthusiasts alike and consider our events “…a Collector’s Paradise”™. Their three day fine art festivals are all encompassing, providing patrons with a unique opportunity to meet the artists that create all works of art - catering to lovers of all mediums. Jury selected artists from around the United States and abroad, displaying original pieces of fine art; including small to life-sized bronzes, paintings, pottery, photography, scratchboard, wood, clay, metal and glass sculptures, batiks, jewelry and so much more!

Thunderbird Artists wants to enhance your experience of fine art festivals. In addition to fine art, participating wineries provide a wonderful selection of Arizona, national and international wines for sampling - ensuring something for the wine novice and the wine expert. Enjoy magnificent wine, while strolling amongst countless pieces of original artwork. Music and a fine selection of edibles complete the experience of a Thunderbird Artist Festival.
