Bushman, Jr. Ford’s film centers on a German mother whose sons fight and die on both sides of the war, again expressing the theme of a common humanity. The film is heavily influenced by F. W. Murnau’s Sunrise, shot on some of the same sets the preceding year at Fox. Silent, with original music track. 97 min.
