Out of the Pan Into the Fire uses the world of fairy tales as its jumping off point and features The Moving Company's signature physical imagery. With magic, music, and a contemporary narrative, Out of the Pan Into the Fire leads the audience to a place Grimm and grotesque, nasty and naive.

Dominique Serrand and Steven Epp are former Artistic Directors of Theatre de la Jeune Lune, where they collaborated on the creation of over 50 productions. Nathan Keepers and Christina Baldwin were also longtime collaborators with the company. Jeune Lune, based in Minneapolis from 1978-2008, was internationally recognized as influential and visionary. They received the 2005 Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre Company.
