Event Description
A love story that has transfixed audiences for nearly a century, Liliom inspired the legendary musical Carousel. The story of a servant-girl and the rough and gruff carousel barker she weds, Liliom is an extraordinary work about the limits of love and the prices we pay for it. For the first time in over 30 years, Molnar's play returns to New York City in a brand new production from Beautiful Soup Theater directed by Steven Carl McCasland. The production stars Gerrard Lobo as Liliom with Morgan DeTogne as Julie.
