THE PLAY'S THE THING: Intermediate Scene Study

Intermediate scene study focuses on creating more believable, focused and truthful onstage relationships. Students develop specific areas of advanced acting technique through scene work, characterization and script analysis. Through scene study with partners, students get the chance to work in two genres: contemporary drama/comedy and classical. Because of limited class size, there will also be time to address any individual blocks actors might be struggling with. Prerequisite: minimum one year of acting training or production history and a prepared monologue. Instructor: Christy Yael
