PART 01
ADULT. [US/Detroit]
The influential duo of Nicola Kuperus + Adam Lee Miller blend vocals with drum machines, analog synths, and electronic/punk sounds, reflecting the grittiness of rustbelt cities we know all too well. Emerging in '98 under the pseudonym “Plasma Co.” with one now totally obscure 12?, The Modern Romantics 12?, they quickly changed to ADULT. Known equally as visual artists, their latest film trilogy has been presented at Anthology Film Archive, Detroit Institute of Arts, and Distrital Film Festival in Mexico City. This trilogy and new installation will open at Pittsburgh’s Mattress Factory September 13 as part of "Detroit Artists in Residence" exhibition. Check it out.

VESSEL. [UK/Bristol]
Recent WIRE magazine cover-boy and Beatport's "2012 Artists to Watch" the 22-year-old producer, aka Sebastian Gainsborough's, constantly evolving sound has never been an easy task to pin down. Part of the Young Echo collective of young Bristol producers currently twisting up house, garage and various shades of bass music into unusual, captivating forms, he's also part on the Tri-Angle records family that includes acts like Holy Other, Clams Casino, and Balam Acab. In the past 12 months he's been introducing people to his sound via a series of 12”.

TROGPITE [US/Pgh]
Postlife member with a background rooted in the noise and experimental scene, this semi-twitter personality is known for his noisy and seemingly idm influenced jungle, hard techno, and footwork.

PART 02
KiNK [BG]
KiNK (aka Strahil Velchev) is a Bulgarian DJ and live performer. He has achieved worldwide success as a producer having been released on liebe*detail, Odori, and Rush Hour, famous for tracks like the acid-house “Same Old Thing” and ultra-groovy “Get Nervous”. As a DJ he’s as versatile as he is talented spinning house, techno, hip-hop, funk, and downtempo.

HUNEE [GE/US]
Berlin resident Hunee has steadily risen to become one of the most revered new names in disco and deep house over the last two years. His throwback take on house music is nothing if not distinctive. His releases have graced some of the most influential labels in those genres, including Permanent Vacation, Retreat, and Rush Hour, and he is a sought-after DJ at taste-maker parties from Let’s Play House and NYC Outpost to Cologne Sessions and Redbull Radio.
