2013 Flood City Music Festival

A three-day celebration of American roots music, the AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival attracts thousands of enthusiastic music fans every summer. Once the co-producer of the National Folk Festival during its three-year run in Johnstown and the exclusive producer of the Johnstown FolkFest since 1993, the Johnstown Area Heritage Association is working to make this one of the best regional festivals in the country. Dr. John and the Lower 911, Del McCoury, Sonny Landreth, Gregg Allman, Derek Trucks, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Los Lobos, Robert Cray - the list of Grammy nominees and first-rate musicians who have played our stages goes on and on. The VIP Package includes tickets to each day of the festival for two people, plus one premium parking pass for each day, all of which is included in the ticket print-at-home. Please present your parking pass pass to the lot attendant and display it on your dashboard. VIP Package purchasers also have exclusive access to bleachers at the mainstage. VIP Package & Oilhouse Pass holders will have access to a lounge located in the renovated Oilhouse at Peoples Natural Gas Park . The lounge includes the site's only cash bar and flush restrooms, as well as a premium view of the Atlantic Broadband Stage, which will feature performances throughout the festival (including the late night sets). Weekend passes and single-day tickets are also available. The lanyards that are part of the VIP Package and Oilhouse Pass will not be mailed as they have been in past years. There will be a designated pickup site on festival grounds - please bring your receipt to receive your lanyards. Information will be emailed and posted on the website. Families are welcome - children 12 and under who are accompanied by a ticketholding parent or guardian get in free. If you wish to purchase from the pubs, you must bring proper ID regardless of your age/appearance. Rustic camping is offered at Greenhouse Park in Conemaugh Township. There is 24-hour security and school bus shuttles to and from the music festival. There are 2 shuttle runs to and 2 from the festival each day. The cost is per person/per evening with camping offered on Friday and Saturday evening. Festival admission tickets must be purchased separately. Handicapped parking is available on festival grounds. Proceeds from the event benefit JAHA, a non-profit organization working to revitalize Johnstown through heritage tourism and events.
