There is NOTHING to do on Wednesday nights. So we're gonna throw some epic low-band-amount gigs and keep things cheap at $5 adv and $8 at door. And like a [raw promo gig], bands aren't forced to sell presales!
What is a [raw promo gig]? It's how shows used to be. Bands didn't have to be forced to sell tickets in advance. Instead, fans just came out to support them because, well, they're musicians, not salespeople. What's awesome about this big relief of the old status quo is that, not only is their choice to offer presales optional, but any band on the event could win $75!
It all comes down to YOU, the fan. Come to the gig and show your support. This isn't a "battle of the bands" but instead a "band vs self" competition to get more people to the event. It's all about turnout. The more people at the show, the more the word of local music is spread. These bands work tirelessly to create some amazing music and with your help could score some extra cash. Nobody wants to play to an empty room, and nobody wants to attend an empty show. Just let us know at the door which band you're there to primarily support.
TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR SCENE! IT IS ONLY AS GOOD AS YOU MAKE IT!
Tips for Optimal Underground Music Success
1. Attend when the show begins. The show doesn't start when your favorite band is there to play. The show starts at the start time. Don't miss this hand crafted lineup.
2. Don't sit outside and smoke the whole time. You can do that at home.
3. Spread the word. Send out event invites and bring your friends to the gig. (Also, check out the area at the bottom about how you can get in for free if you invite people!)
4. Respect one another. Shit talk somewhere else.
5. Stay safe and use your head. Don't stand in the middle of the pit if you don't want to get hit. Also, attend at your own risk and attend responsibly.
